Dear Larry, Nancy N, Mark, Margaret, Jennifer, Gleda, Kathleen, Ganesha, and Andrew,

Thank you all for your wonderful support of Serah. Although this first year student at Njonjo High School has had a difficult history, she has dedicated herself to making a difference in her community. Serah scored among the highest in her Kenya Certificate for Primary Education exams.

In her spare time, she champions the VOICE of ORPHANS which is an HIV education program through the Hopeful Grandmothers Orphanage. This program uses drama and traditional dance to educate the community about HIV/AIDS focusing on youth education. To truly understand how impressive this is, you must understand that culturally a person can be shunned in Kenya if they admit association with someone who had AIDS. Serah has shown exceptional leadership skills and bravery amongst her peers. She plans to become a Minister of Health in Kenya.

Larry, Nancy, Margaret, Jennifer, Gleda, Kathleen, Ganesha and Andrew your combined efforts will ensure Serah’s tuition for the next year is paid in full at Njonjo High School. Mark your donation of the school uniform will allow Serah to attend school. Kenya Provincial schools require uniforms in order to attend. Thank you for your donation and you positive impact in Serah’s life!
